He is Always Present

I have set the LORD continually before me; because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken (Psalm 16:8 NASB).

I may stray from God, but He is never far from me.

I mess up, make mistakes, fall down, worry, and have anxiety just like the Psalmist David. Then I realize that like a loving Father, God is always present and He is always looking out for me.

While I can only see a snapshot, God can see the big picture. He has my best interests in mind not only for today, but also for tomorrow.

When I begin to understand how much I need Him in my life, I turn back to Him, and begin to put Him first in all things.

The way I keep my house, the way I take care of my family, the way I speak, the way I perform in the workplace, and the way I love others are all impacted by my understanding of the Father’s love towards me.

There is no greater love than the love of the Father, and the love of the Father is always present.

In my mess He rescued me by sending the gift of His Son. He is at my right hand to hold me up, support me, encourage me, and fight for me and with me through this crazy adventure called life, and for that I am grateful.

Can you see His fingerprints on your life? Even when you strayed, He has always been there, waiting patiently for you to return.

Heavenly Father,
I praise You for who You are – a good, good Father. Thank You for loving me in my mess. Thank You for finding me right where I am and embracing me because of who You are. Thank You for holding me up with Your right hand. Through the storms, I will cling tight to You and I will not be shaken.
In the precious name of Jesus’ I pray,
Amen
