For This Season {Tumaini} My One Word

And now, Lord, for what do I wait?  My hope is in You. Psalm 39:7 (NASB)

The trend (which I love) is to hold on to #oneword for a year.

Having #oneword gives our lives focus, meaning, and a sense of direction.

But how does #oneword mark one’s life from only January to December?

Each word I thought of marked more than 12 months for me…Each word marks a season of my life.

Word #1  Believe – The beginning of our faith journey, which also happened to be the beginning of our marriage.  The first few years…

Word #2 Growth – Yes, we have grown Spiritually, as marriage partners, as friends, in our jobs, in our homes… The past few years… Amen.

Word #3 Hope – This is our season of hope {Tumaini in Swahili}.  There are so many sights on the horizon, and as we keep our focus on Him they are beginning to come to fruition.  The present…We are ready.

May our home be as this one…

Not especially fancy on the outside, but alive with hope on the inside.

A hope that withstands the day-to-day pressures, and helps us to keep our focus on the one perfect Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  John 1:1

What is your word this season of your life?  (Maybe it will be 12 months, or maybe it will be longer!)
