Mindy Lee Hopman

Mindy is a Jewish believer, Bible teacher, author, curriculum specialist, and dynamic speaker whose greatest joy is helping people understand how their faith story fits into God’s story, which is The Greatest Story.

Mindy’s grandfather influenced her faith as a child and even more so as an adult when she began to understand how her Christian faith directly connected to her Jewish roots.

Mindy completed her first book, Beautiful Legacy: Our Roots Run Deep in 2016, using personal narrative and Biblical application to trace the Jewish heritage to help readers understand how one seed gives birth to the ancient Judeo-Christian faith family tree. She emphasizes the mystery of how, similar to the biblical olive tree, God grafts us into His faith-family tree so we can grow, thrive, and bear fruit. Mindy helps readers understand the roots of the Christian faith and identify how to pass the legacy of faith to future generations. Her second book is for the Advent season and is called Faith Roots: An Advent Family Devotional.

Mindy loves living in the beautiful Southeast and is a dedicated wife, mother, and teacher. She currently serves as the Regional Director of Field Ministry for Region 14 with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).  Mindy also directs FCA’s [THE] Huddle: for women and leads huddles locally as a character coach and chaplain.

As a lifelong learner, she greatly values the gift of education and holds a Master’s Degree in Religion and Christian Leadership from Liberty University and a Master’s Degree in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from George Mason University.

In her free time, Mindy loves to be with her family on the water, boating or paddleboarding, or hiking trails in Alaska! She also enjoys running in the early mornings and trying to capture every sunrise and sunset through photography!
