God so loved the world… {Lent}
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 3:16 NASB
God created the world, and like every Master Designer, He loved His beautiful creation!God loved the world so He gave His most precious possession to us, as the final sacrifice, to bring both Jew and Gentile back into a relationship with Him.
The moment we understand this priceless gift, and turn back to Him, the Spirit is born in us. And the Spirit gives us life eternal.
This season of Lent we remember.
We remember how much God loves us.
We remember we are but ashes.
We remember the gift of Jesus to the world.
Through Scripture, we remember how He walked, and talked, and loved all people from all nations and walks of life.
Heavenly Father, Thank YOU for knitting our hearts together as one body in love to love. May we take time to pause and remember.
