Where Comfort is Found
“He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.” 2 Corinthians 1:4 (NLT)
God is with us in the valley and in the experience of being in that hard place, is when we seek His face and meet Him. The Word can travel where no words can go. When we come to the end of ourselves, The Word carries us through to the other side.
Victory is found on the other side of the valley, and there is always another side to a valley. Some people take longer than others to get there, but you will get there. Take your time. Lean in. Listen to what He is trying to speak to you right where you are.
And when you arrive, a deep comfort will reside which only comes from an encounter with The Word.
Comfort is found in a person and His name is Jesus.
There will be others ahead of you and behind you in the valley. You may return to bring those coming up behind you comfort, just as comfort was brought to you, and this is where complete healing begins.
Heavenly Father, Thank you for the gift of comfort which you gave to me when I was in the valley. May you reveal to me those who need to hear the words I received during that time. May Jesus, who is The Word, go where no words can go, to bring comfort to hurting hearts as only He can do. In the precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen
