It’s OK, be Led.

He leads me beside quiet waters. Psalm 23:2b (NASB)

The Good Shepherd leads us to places where quiet, pure, clean waters are found. Early in the morning, the Shepherd finds places for the sheep of His pasture to quench their thirst. He satisfies all their needs.

Our Heavenly Father created us to have an insatiable thirst that can only be quenched by His presence. True refreshment is found in quiet places spent with The Word who is The Living Water.

God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in Him. ― John Piper

In quiet places, the Living Water quenches our thirst by calming our hearts.
In quiet places, His grace fills us with peace.
In quiet places, He gives us deep, abiding joy.

The restlessness of our hearts is calmed by the Shepherd who cares for his flock. Each one of us is the object of His tender care and great compassion.

Thou hast made us for thyself, O Lord, and our heart is restless until it finds its rest in thee. ― Augustine of Hippo

The Good Shepherd delights in knowing our thirsts have been quenched by Him alone.

May you let Him lead you beside the Living Water this week, reimagine life in His presence, and may gratitude fill your soul.

Heavenly Father, I praise You for Your presence. Life with You is so different when You are present, and You are always present. I praise You for leading my heart daily. I do not want to go where You have not gone first. Thank You for leading me to the Living Water, who quences my thirst as only Jesus can. How comforting is it to know, the search is over when each one of our restless hearts finds You. For that, my heart is grateful.
In Your precious name I pray, Amen
