Found: Life in the Sand Picture
But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. Romans 5:15
Fragrant flowers, lush green plants, full fruit abounding and perfect companionship ~ The Garden of Eden was a spectacular sight. The Garden that maintained itself was perfect, and Adam adored his wife. However, even the woman who had it all wanted more.
When Satan, through the serpent, came to deceive Eve she took the bait and the entire human race suffered because of THE transgression. Adam and Eve were declared guilty as charged – condemnation entered the world and the sentence was death.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
Several years later Hope arrived. Born in a manger, this Jewish baby came to redeem what was lost in the fall.
He grew up living under the law, but during His years of ministry taught love, mercy, and forgiveness.
In every aspect of His life, Jesus taught people how to see from God’s perspective.
There was a woman and (just like you and me) she was born with a sin nature.
She had been to the depths. The Pharisees (religious leaders) asked Jesus to condemn her.
Jesus knew her heart and pain.
He stooped low. He drew something in the sand for all to see…
But when they persisted in asking Him, He straightened up, and said to them, ‘He who is without sin among you, let him be the first to throw a stone at her.’ John 8:7
Life was found in the sand picture.
His picture convicted those who accused the woman and they walked away.
She accepted the gift of grace.
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1
No matter where you have gone, no matter where you have been, God loves you and there is no condemnation for those who love Him.
Jesus stoops low for you, so you can stand. He draws a picture in the sand…

November 14, 2013 at 7:40 amI have always wondered what Jesus was doodling or writing in the dirt but never thought what He wrote is what convicted the condemers of their own guilt-thank you for your prespective on this! Love your song too!
God Bless,

November 21, 2013 at 11:17 amWow Mindy,
What an inspiration & encouragement this song & message that you have shared with me today has brought! I live by the bay in San Diego & chose this from all others because of the heart in the sand. My journey has been rough the past 5 yrs. I keep trusting & do not give up hope that I am a child of God & do have a purpose here. I keep trying to discover what that is & know the promises that He has provided will prevail. Thank you for showing that once again to me. Gods Blessings to you, Julie
