Greater than 20/20

For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities – all things have been created through Him and for Him.  He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together. Colossians 1:16-17 (NASB)

God created all things – visible and invisible.
Visibility helps us understand; invisibility confuses us.
Understanding brings us comfort; confusion makes us quiver.
Comfort brings us peace; quivering bring anxiety.

God’s perspective does not come from the eyes, but rather from His heart.
God knows your yesterday and He can see your tomorrow.

O Lord, You have searched me and known me. Psalm 139:1

He sees with infinite heart-vision – that’s greater than 20/20.

God created you for your today and for your tomorrow

For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. Psalm 139:13 (NIV)

You were created through Him (the One who is all and knows all) and created for Him.

…all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. Psalm 139:16 (NIV)

God You are greater…

Now, rest.

God knows the beginning and He knows the end.  He is the victor and your closest friend.
Rest in knowing He goes before you.
He holds your life together so that you don’t have to.
Each day He becomes greater and His embrace helps you see more clearly.
This is called faith.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen…By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.  Hebrews 11:1,3 (NASB)

In my daily walk I have learned to trust His greater than 20/20 heart vision…and the colors have come alive.

Don’t you wish we could see with “heart vision?” I long for that perspective… By the transforming of the Word I believe we get more and more of that perspective (Romans 12:2). Thanks for stopping by, Jeanie!

I absolutely loved this!!! Gods greater than 20/20 vision because He has heart vision… so much more thorough than our eyes. Vision can play tricks on us sometimes, but Gods vision sees clearly. I really enjoyed your blog, verses, and music! I love that song. Thanks for sharing!

Yes, our vision does play tricks on us sometimes. We don’t know the intentions of other people. God knows it all because He knows our hearts…Thanks for stopping by!
