This semester held both blessing and adversity, but God continued to move in the middle of it all. And what a joy it has been to see His goodness taking root in so many hearts.
September – Regional Director Summit in Kansas City
FCA Regional Directors from across the nation gathered in Kansas City this September to lean into new FCA initiatives, connect deeply with God, and strengthen relationships with one another. During this time, Debbie Larson joined several of our FCA female staff encouraging, equipping, and helping us plan the upcoming [THE] Huddle: for women!
See You at the Pole
When students lead, God multiplies. Students invited students to See You at the Pole on campuses across the nation! On the MVA campus, more students, friends, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators gathered than ever before. Afterward, The Church at Montverde generously served breakfast to everyone who came!

October – FCA Heart & Soul Golf Tournament at Clermont National
God continues to use community + sport to advance the Gospel and make disciples. FCA’s 2nd Annual Heart & Soul Golf Tournament took place at Clermont National thanks to the generous sponsorship of Chip Smith, the owner of Clermont National Golf Course. FCA Don McClanen Experience DME (First Huddle, Estes Park, CO)
The FCA Don McClanen Experience began in Estes Park, CO the home of the very first FCA Camp with 250 high school, college, and pro athletes. Through this experience, my leadership was both affirmed and strengthened. While these pictures show the fun we shared, I left full, confident, and deeply assured of where God has placed me to lead today.
The Directors Summit took place at Tomoka Christian Church in Ormond Beach, Florida. The Florida Region has been working hard to assess its strengths and weaknesses in every area across every Advancement Lane. So much work in FCA takes place behind the scenes, so that staff can be prepared and strengthened in the Spirit to do the work God gave us to reach the hearts of the coaches and athletes right where He has placed us.
I shared a message on leadership with our staff that God has been working on in my own heart. Leadership in God’s kingdom is a sacred trust, not a personal right. True influence begins when leaders follow Christ’s example of humility and repentance. Like Paul, entrusted leaders invite others to imitate them not because they are perfect, but because their lives point toward the perfect example of Jesus.
